Rennes, a small city

Rennes, a small city in western France. Maison à colombages. The buildings with walls like the picture above are timber-framed houses with wooden frames. It is said that Hennes has the most timber-framed houses in Brittany. In fact, I could see many buildings with walls like this while walking around the city of Hennes.
