In Raohe County

Raohe County, the two farms we passed earlier belong here, is the heartland of Beidahuang, located along the Ussuri River, and is the hometown of the song 'Ussuri Boat Song.' In this song, the keyword I caught is 'Hezhe people,' so I really wanted to know if any of the people I met were Hezhe. But I was just curious and didn't ask. Asking someone's ethnicity out of the blue can be considered a form of racial discrimination. So I just drank bubble tea by the river. Watching the recent flood submerge the embankment, many roads were flooded, and some people were washing bracken by the river. Maybe they are Hezhe people. Some people also took the initiative to talk to us, asking if we were tourists. When asking others to take photos, we always received very enthusiastic responses.
