Leisurely City Walk, Spring Festival in Quzhou

⛱️Must-see attractions: Songyuan Market: We took the 7 am high-speed train from Nanjing and arrived in Quzhou at 10 am. We went straight to Songyuan Market. There were very few shops open during the Spring Festival, and there were long lines in front of the few that were open. At 11 am, we finally got our hands on some duck heads, rabbit heads, chicken feet, and duck feet, and couldn't wait to dig in. They were delicious! They were so spicy that we had to take deep breaths, but luckily we had some crystal cake and drinks to wash them down. The strong mint flavor helped to offset the spiciness. South Gate City Wall Ruins: After eating and drinking our fill, we rode our bikes to the South Gate City Wall Ruins. Although it can't compare to the city wall in Nanjing, it has its own charm. Quzhou Hall and Luming Grassland: We found our hotel, dropped off our luggage, and headed to Luming Mountain. We visited the marriage registration office, which is a very unique red building. There were many children playing on the "grassland" opposite. We crossed the internet-famous bridge and arrived at Shuitingmen on the other side of the Qu River. Shuitingmen and Tianwang Tower: This area is similar to Laomendong in Nanjing, with lots of places to eat and shop, and a strong festive atmosphere. The immersive experience hall at Tianwang Tower is worth a visit, especially the laser show, which is very unique. 🏨Accommodation tips: The city is small, so it's best to stay near the Guojin Center, as it's close to all the attractions. There are Home Inn, Ji Hotel, and Atour Hotel nearby. 💗Other tips: Shared bikes are the most convenient way to get around the city.
