Quito, Ecuador is a city on the equator.

I was worried a lot about whether or not to travel to Quito, Ecuador because people say it’s not safe. In reality, there were hardly any Koreans there. However, a guesthouse called Quito Terrace run by a Korean immigrant gave me a lot of good tips. He said that there are a lot of pickpockets in Quito, so never let your phone run wild on the street, and be careful with your bag or camera when taking pictures. In reality, there were a lot of people who got pickpocketed. Also, if you take the bus, there’s the Equator Museum, which is a really interesting museum. Ecuador may look scary, but it’s actually a quiet and nice country!
