He took benevolence as the core, propriety as the norm, and moderation as the method to guide people to build a beautiful and harmonious world. The Confucian thought system founded by Confucius is the crystallization of Chinese history and culture and the main axis of Chinese traditional culture. One of Confucius’ more important ideas is the doctrine of the mean. "Zhong" means impartiality and moderation, "yong" and "yong" are similar. The doctrine of the mean means using the mean, which means doing things in the appropriate way. Confucius's doctrine of the mean elevated the concept of "holding the middle" in early political ethics to a Tao, which is used to guide people's behavior.
