Qingyuan Mountain

Qingyuan Mountain is located in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, China. It is a national 5A tourist attraction and one of the famous Taoist mountains. There is a huge statue of Laozi on Laojun Rock, the main attraction of Qingyuan Mountain, which is the largest existing stone sculpture from the Song Dynasty in China. The statue of Laozi is 14.8 meters high, 6.85 meters wide, 8.81 meters thick, and weighs more than 200 tons. It is a treasure of Chinese Taoist art. Thousand Hands Rock Thousand Hands Rock enshrines the image of the Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes of Guanyin Bodhisattva and is very popular. The Avalokitesvara statue here has 1,008 hands, each holding a magical weapon, symbolizing the boundless compassion and wisdom of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.
