Beautiful Quanzhou West Lake: Picturesque scenery with shimmering waters and lush mountains

Quanzhou West Lake, originally named Duanjia Lake and also known as Xibeiyang, is adjacent to the national scenic area Qingyuan Mountain. It consists of four islands, three bridges, three long embankments, and three water areas, making it the largest artificial lake in Fujian Province with distinctive Minnan characteristics. The lake is adorned with blooming flowers, and the water surface glistens, perfectly blending the lake and mountains into one harmonious scene. It is a classical garden with a good ecological environment in the urban area of Quanzhou. The core scenic spot, Citing Pavilion, with its ancient and elegant five-story structure, has become the park's landmark building. From the top of Citing Pavilion, the entire beauty of West Lake Park can be seen at a glance. The park boasts over 300 species of green plants, including designated areas like the International Friendship Forest, Youth Civilization Green Park, and Volunteer Planting Forest. There are also more than 30 species of birds and specialized green plant areas such as the Pine and Cypress Garden, Palm Garden, and Bamboo Garden. The meticulous and innovative design and planning of the park are evident everywhere, from the vine-covered pavilions to the well-paved grounds and even the finely crafted stone benches along the paths. Originally, I planned to take a midday break in a park, but I was amazed by Quanzhou West Lake Park. The golden splendor hidden among the greenery and the vast expanse of misty waters make it an excellent place for tourists and residents to relax and enjoy the scenery. Quanzhou West Lake Park is a national model unit for greening and has won the "China Habitat Environment Example Award".
