Ha Giang Loop - Day 4

Day 4 of motorbiking through Northern Vietnam with peeps I only met a few days prior: We made it!! The first 2 hour stretch was the most dangerous by far - unpaved roads, super rocky patches I struggled to get through, and this crazy bridge that was literally just wooden planks tied together and suspended over a river (with some gaps from missing planks no less). To top it all off we did this in pouring rain (at one point I fell into a ditch bc there was so much water in it I couldn’t tell it was more than just a shallow puddle) and blinding fog. 🥴🥴 I crashed more times than I can count due to sheer exhaustion and honestly didn’t know if I’d make it to the end BUT ya girl did it!!! I just wanna reiterate that the Ha Giang loop is worth it but it *definitely* is dangerous.
