Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area, home to the "Laozi is the Greatest" statue

Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area is not far from the city center. A taxi from near Wanda Plaza in the morning costs about 20. Tickets to Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area cost CNY 70. There are very few other attractions with tickets. After entering the scenic area through the ticket gate, there is a bus stop where you can take a bus to Nantaiyan. The bus fare is CNY 15 per person per ride. We got off at the last stop and started walking down, enjoying the scenery along the way. We walked to the stupa of Master Hongyi, and further down is the statue of Laozi! It's a very easy hiking route, and half a day is enough.
