They turn red once a year and stay red for ten days. If you miss it, you'll have to wait another year! I just went to take photos today, and the beauty should last until next week. If you want to see it, hurry up. Transportation: Take the subway and transfer to Line 4 to reach the Tourist Center directly. If driving or taking a taxi, go to the Laoshan Scenic Area Tourist Center. Tickets cost 130 RMB for adults, half price for those over 60. Take the shuttle bus and get off at Taiqing Palace, then buy a separate 27 RMB ticket for Taiqing Palace. Inside, you can enjoy the red maple and ginkgo leaves, visit the Taoist temple, and hike up to the Laozi statue. Two hours is enough. Finally, head out to the seaside to watch the sunset. Take the shuttle bus down the mountain. Recommended to arrive around 2 PM, spend 2 hours exploring, then go to the seaside at 4 PM to watch the sunset—perfect!
