The Westin West Coast is about 50 km from Qingdao's old downtown area, making it unsuitable for first-time visitors to Qingdao due to its relatively remote location. However, for weekend leisure or hotel stays, it's a very wise choice. The hotel is relatively new with artistic and aesthetically pleasing design and decoration, good food, and affordable prices. The hotel is adjacent to the World Expo City International Exhibition Center and Conference Center. The subway station is quite far, making public transportation inconvenient, so it's more suitable for those traveling by car. The hotel's exterior has a rounded shape, and the lobby and public areas feature a typical resort style with many artistic decorations. It also inherits some characteristics of the Westin brand, earning it a place among Marriott hotels in northern China and making it worth appreciating. I checked in to an executive room on the sixth floor with huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering an open view. From the room, you can enjoy the hotel and surrounding scenery! The hotel has excellent hardware and software, comfortable accommodation, good service, and affordable prices. Despite the inconvenient public transportation, it's still a great choice for a staycation! The guest rooms are spacious in both the living room and bedroom areas. The decoration style is traditional, leaning toward business hotels, with a spacious closet. Overall, it's quite comfortable! Especially the soft and comfortable bed and bedding - I love it! The room also provides beach slippers that you can wear outside. The welcome fruit selection and quality are quite good. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer an open view, although the scenery is not particularly outstanding. I experienced breakfast at the Seasonal Tastes restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast area continues the style of the lobby, with decor full of artistic atmosphere. The restaurant is located at the edge of an atrium, and sitting by the window allows you to enjoy the garden landscape in the atrium. The quality of breakfast is quite high, with excellent braised beef brisket with radish, shrimp with cabbage, freshly made jianbing (Chinese crepes), and more. There are also noodles and wontons available; fruits and bread are also abundant. The service is very attentive, whether from the restaurant staff or the ladies at the lounge! The gym and swimming pool are located on the sixth floor and are excellent. The gym has a great design style, is spacious, and is divided into several different areas so that multiple groups can use it without disturbing each other. The pool has few people, clear water, and complete supporting facilities. The hotel also has designs and facilities that cater to children.
