Qingdao Family Trip Off-the-Beaten-Path｜No wonder it's a beach frequented by locals

Every year we come to Qingdao, and this year we visited the west coast of Qingdao. Finally, we crossed the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge to the legendary local vacation spot 🌊 . 🚄 High-speed rail Qingdao West Station 🏨 There are many hotels here, catering to all budgets 🚗 It is recommended to rent a car, especially if you have kids, as you will need a lot of gear for water activities and beachcombing 1️⃣ Check the tide schedule, I use the Tide Table Genie Then plan your route according to the time ⚠️ Go to Jiulongshan Road during high tide ⚠️ For beachcombing at Yumingshui and Mangrove, wait for low tide 2️⃣ Start from the left side of Jiulongshan Road to watch the sunrise, the entire route is scenic, you can almost go down every few steps. Currently, the yellow flowers have mostly withered, so no need to go specifically 📷 Poseidon Temple, a must-visit, the wooden bridge in picture 2 is there 📷 Mountain Stream Valley, also very beautiful, with spectacular waves crashing on the rocks, there are boardwalks along the way There are parking lots, trunk coffee, starch sausages, and public toilets along the way 👍 Overall, it's off-the-beaten-path but not wild, with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment 3️⃣ Golden Beach is very crowded on weekends, if you are afraid of crowds, you can go to Silver Beach ✅ Clean water, fine and soft sand ✅ Has showers and small shops ❌ The downside is that there are not many recreational facilities 4️⃣ Not very suitable to go to those internet-famous coffee shops, you can't even get in The price of coffee... I wouldn't drink it anyway 5️⃣ Treasure spots for kids Huangdao is very suitable for kids, we couldn't go beachcombing because it clashed with a ball game, but we managed to get into the West Coast Science Museum, and played inside until we didn't want to leave! Five whole floors, all for kids to play ✅ Free ✅ Limited to 1000 people each morning and afternoon ❌ You need to set an alarm and book two days in advance at 8 am There are also some art galleries and museums we didn't have time to visit. Overall, it's more suitable for young children to travel during the summer than the other side!
