Walking through the old town of Qingdao, what a great day for a citywalk!

Qingdao Zhongshan Road was founded in 1897 during the German occupation period and was once as famous as Shanghai's Nanjing Road and Beijing's Wangfujing, being the renowned commercial center of old Qingdao. It stretches from Zhanqiao in the south to Dayaogou in the north, with a length of about 1500 meters. The renovated Zhongshan Road is really beautiful, perfect for walking. An afternoon spent leisurely strolling through the old town is especially comfortable. There are many artistic shops in the old town of Qingdao worth visiting, and you can also buy cute doll figurines at the characteristic grocery stores, experiencing the artistic atmosphere of Qingdao. From Zhongshan Road, you can walk directly to Zhanqiao to see the sea and the seagulls. Continuing north along Zhongshan Road, you can even reach Signal Hill, and along the way, visit attractions such as the Qingdao Catholic Church, Anna Villa, Lao She Park, the old Qingdao Post Office, and the Christian Church. You can also choose the coastal wooden plank road route from Zhanqiao to May Fourth Square, which is about 11 kilometers in total and takes about 3 hours to walk. Along the way, you will pass Zhanqiao, Lu Xun Park, the No.1 Bathing Beach, Badaguan, May Fourth Square, and the Olympic Sailing Center is also not far away.
