Weekends are for hanging out with buddies nearby. Breathe freely in the wilderness, getting close to nature. First, we visited the Tangjiahe Nature Reserve, where the sight of the hills covered in blooming Cercis flowers was stunningly beautiful, and we encountered many wild animals. With some luck, you might even see a giant panda – watching these adorable creatures full of vitality is truly a joy! Moreover, this area is home to a diverse range of nationally protected animals, such as the golden snub-nosed monkey, golden eagle, and Lady Amherst's pheasant. If you're not lucky enough to encounter them in the wild, you can always visit the natural history museum. After a long day, we returned to Qingxi Ancient Town, strolled along the Tea Horse Road, marveled at the ancient wisdom reflected in the city walls, and at night, the town's nightscape was equally beautiful. It was also a good opportunity to learn about the local customs, history, and culture.
