Arriving at the grassland in the midst of summer, the temperature is surprisingly refreshing. A gentle breeze carries the scent of grass and earth. The boundless greenery stretches as far as the eye can see, like a soft carpet spread across the earth, dotted with grazing cattle and sheep leisurely munching on tender grass. Occasionally, herders on horseback emerge from the depths of the grassland, their horses' hooves kicking up dust, the setting sun casting long shadows behind them. In that instant, time seems to stand still, leaving only the vastness of the world and the freedom of horse and rider. Walking deeper into the grassland, we come across a few Tibetan tents. The herders warmly invite us inside, offering us butter tea and handmade dairy products. The rich and warm butter tea, with its subtle salty taste, instantly dispels the fatigue of the journey. They talk to us with genuine smiles, sharing stories of the changing seasons on the grassland, the lives of their livestock, and even their thoughts on the world beyond. Their lives are simple and content, rising with the sun and resting with the moon, living in harmony with nature. Time seems to slow down here, prompting reflection on the fast-paced and bustling city life. As the sun sets, golden light bathes the grassland, casting a warm glow on the mountains. Standing on a hillside, gazing at the rolling mountains in the distance, I feel an unprecedented sense of tranquility and awe. As night falls, the sky transforms into a vast sea of stars, the Milky Way clearly visible, almost within reach. At this moment, all worries seem insignificant, leaving only the solace of this vast expanse. Leaving the Qilian Mountain grassland, my heart is filled with reluctance. The vastness and purity of this land, the genuine smiles and freely galloping horses, will forever be cherished memories. This is not just a grassland; it's a place where the soul can find respite and breathe freely.
