🏔️Scenic Spot Introduction: Zhuo'er Mountain is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, located close to Babao River and facing the sacred mountain of the Tibetan area, Ami Dongso (Niu Xin Mountain), across the river. According to legend, Zhuo'er Mountain and Niu Xin Mountain, the guardian mountain of Qilian, are a pair of deeply affectionate lovers, silently guarding the mountains and rivers of Qilian on both sides of the Babao River. Zhuo'er Mountain belongs to the Danxia landform, composed of red sandstone and gravel. The highest altitude of the developed Zhuo'er Mountain Scenic Area is 3100 meters. It has been named the 'Musician's Inspiration Base' and 'Photographer's Creative Base'. 🗺️Location: Located in Ladongtai Village, Babao Town, Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. 🚗Self-driving from Xining, via Xiaoqiao Street-Ningzhang Road-Zhangmeng Line-Jiefang South Road-Xiamen Bridge-Chahan River Bridge-Daban Mountain Tunnel-Haomen River Bridge-S302-Linchang Road-Zhenxing Road-Minla Section to enter Zhuo'er Mountain Scenic Area, the total distance is about 280 kilometers, taking about 6 hours. 🚗Self-driving from Qilian County, via Guangchang East Road-Babao East Road-Linchang Road-Zhenxing Road-Minla Section to enter Zhuo'er Mountain Scenic Area, the total distance is about 7 kilometers, taking about 15 minutes. 🎫Tickets: 80 yuan/person, including entrance ticket + shuttle bus. 🏮TIPS: ✅The parking lot is at the ticket office. After buying the ticket, take the sightseeing bus. ⚠️Note that this is not yet the entrance to the scenic area. After about 10 minutes on the bus, you will reach the entrance of the scenic area. ✅✅✅Tour route: Scenic area entrance-Sightseeing boardwalk-Qianbing Cliff-Xixia Beacon Tower-Lunbu Xiaguo-Prayer flags-Ethnic Unity and Harmony Tower-Lover's Cliff-Eye of the Sky-Sightseeing boardwalk-Scenic area entrance. ✅The shuttle bus runs approximately every 15 minutes and leaves when full. ✅The Danxia landform at Qianbing Cliff is no less impressive than the colorful Danxia in Zhangye. The combination of Danxia, grasslands, goats, and snow-capped mountains is very impressive. ✅Xixia Beacon Tower is the highest point of the scenic area. After passing the Xixia Beacon Tower, you can see the magnificent Niu Xin Mountain. ✅Around Qingming Festival, it snowed in Qinghai, and Niu Xin Mountain was covered with snow, presenting a stunning scene. The best photos can be taken on the boardwalk next to the Harmony Tower, which is the closest place to Niu Xin Mountain. 📷It is best to have a telephoto lens or a drone for photography. ✅During the trial operation period, there are few tourists, estimated to be less than 100 people. You can take photos as you like, but pay attention to safety. ❗️Zhuo'er Mountain is rich in flora and fauna, and you may encounter snow leopards, wild yaks, wild donkeys, or plants such as snow lotus, bupleurum, and cordyceps. However, we did not encounter any along the way. ✅In June, there are also large fields of rapeseed flowers at the foot of Zhuo'er Mountain. When the rapeseed flowers bloom, it is really beautiful. ✅The round-trip walking distance is about 2 hours, and the overall playtime is 3 hours.
