Transportation tips: Qilian Mountain is more than 300 kilometers away from Xining by car, passing through Menyuan and Qilian Grassland on the way. Food: There are some small shops on the mountain, but the items are quite expensive. It is recommended to buy at the summit where the prices are much cheaper. Near the summit, close to the Xianghe Tower, there is a shop run by a local aunt, next to her house. Inside, there are snacks and drinks like water and instant noodles, and the prices are very reasonable. Nongfu Spring water is 2 yuan per bottle, and Master Kong is 5 yuan per pack. It's really conscientious pricing, almost double the price elsewhere.
