12.6 Tianzhu Mountain

Attraction Introduction: Tianzhu Mountain is located in the western mountainous area of Qianshan City, Anqing, Anhui Province. It is also known as Qianshan, Wanshan, Wanggong Mountain (the abbreviation "Wan" for Anhui Province comes from this), Wansui Mountain, and many others. The main peak, Tianzhu Peak, was remeasured by the National Bureau of Surveying and Mapping to be 1489.8 meters. Basic Information: 1. How to get there: Drive or take a bus to the Tianzhu Mountain Visitor Center parking lot, then transfer to the scenic shuttle; 2. Tickets: Regular price is 130 RMB in peak season / 110 RMB in off-season (free entry with Bai Xi Ru Wan free ticket, Wanmei Anhui 199 package ticket, lifetime free after purchasing tickets in Fuyang and other places); 3. Suitable season: Suitable all year round, you can see rime ice in winter; Route Options: 1. Route info: The full hike is 9 km, going south up and east down, with an elevation gain of less than 900 meters. The overall difficulty is not high. You can also choose the cable car or pure hiking down from Dongguan; 2. Hiking process: Take a bus from Longtan River Visitor Center for 30 minutes to the South Gate hiking start point, then hike up the mountain: Tianzhu Mountain Villa ➡ Zhenyigang ➡ Mysterious Valley ➡ Tianchi Peak ➡ Qinglongbei ➡ Liandan Lake ➡ Dongguan, then take the Longtan River cable car down; Difficulty: It is a mature scenic area and relatively easy. Pure hiking might be a bit challenging for beginners; Preparation: 1. Gear: Trekking poles, gloves, professional hiking boots, hard-shell jacket, quick-dry long-sleeve shirt and pants; 2. Food: Recommended to bring 2 bottles of water as a base, 1 bottle of electrolyte water, bread, Snickers or high-protein food; 3. Others: Be sure to prepare a ⛑ first aid kit; Notes: 1. The ground can be icy and slippery when it rains in winter, avoid dangerous actions; 2. Be a responsible hiker, do not litter; 3. The bus from Longtan River cable car to Dalongwo cable car requires a transfer at Chazhuang Visitor Center, and vice versa.
