Catherine Palace, also known as the Summer Palace, was built during the reign of Peter the Great between 1717 and 1723. It served as a summer retreat for his beloved wife, Catherine I. The palace features only two colors: blue and gold. The gold represents Catherine's hair, while the blue symbolizes her eyes. Catherine Palace is renowned for its beauty, with numerous rooms each decorated in different styles according to their use.
