Idyllic beaches right below the cliff’s edge with crystal clear waters, beautiful waves and a warm summer breeze, what more can you ask for? Daily activities will include walking down to snorkel or fishing, in the afternoons, making a fire to cook as you enjoy the warm sunsets with a glass of wine, listening to the sound of the waves crashing far below. Dreams will be dreams but standing on the edge of this cliff makes me want to buy the land and build my house right here! This is a secret location as I don’t want you to buy the land before I do!

The Oberoi, Lombok only has 50 rooms, but the sprawling property has 24 acres of beautiful, manicured lawns dotted with palm trees. It's relatively removed from other resorts, and views of the Bali Sea can be seen throughout. The tropical setting emanates from the open-air, thatched-roof pavilions that house the spacious lobby and restaurants. Staff are dressed in traditional Indonesian garb and are on-hand in the reception area, which has rattan furniture and overlooks lovely ponds and reflection pools. Free horse-drawn pedicabs are often waiting outside the entrance and can provide guests with rides to the village of Tanjung. The Hotel Tugu Lombok provides a luxury vacation that’s meant to remind guests of the Lombok of yesteryear. While grounds are well-maintained, they’re not overly manicured, and raw building materials create an authentic experience. Anhar Setjadibrata, who founded the hotel, has amassed an enormous collection of Indonesia artwork. "Tugu" translates to “monument,” and the property is packed with antiques and artwork that pay tribute to the different cultures that were on Lombok before Dutch colonization. Views of the Mount Rinjani can be seen from the beach, where long-tail boats are anchored offshore, casting beautiful silhouettes against the skies at sunset. The large property features Dutch colonial-era buildings, including a reception area with intricate carved designs and tapestries. Staff members greet guests by name, creating an intimate environment, and there's free afternoon tea. Peace and quiet are a large part of the package at Jeeva Klui Resort. From the lemongrass ginger tea offered to guests on arrival and the natural wood furnishings in the lobby, to the gentle ocean breezes and the swaying palm trees throughout the grounds, there’s an instant calming effect in the atmosphere. While small by resort standards, the hotel does have a large garden and is the only beachfront property in the area. Ocean views throughout the property, whether from the restaurant, spa, or suite balconies, are incredible.
