Puer | Green Valley Hotel

| Green Valley Hotel. I came to Puer Green Valley Hotel with high expectations, and it truly did not disappoint. This is the lowest-altitude hotel under the Songtsam Hotels group. It's located in the northern wetland park of Simao District, Puer City, next to the Yunnan International Coffee Exchange Center, and about a 15-minute drive from downtown Puer and the high-speed train station. 🏨: The hotel is small, with 25 rooms. The bathroom fixtures are Hansgrohe, and there's an outdoor pool. The overall impression is one of niche luxury, with attention to detail everywhere. The day before check-in, I received a call from the hotel confirming my arrival date and asking if I needed a car to pick me up. During check-in, the staff asked for my shoe size and gifted me a pair of canvas shoes and a Puer walking guide. When I returned to my room around 10pm, I was pleasantly surprised to find a goodnight drink waiting for me. At check-out, the staff proactively carried my luggage to the car and gave me a warm and enthusiastic farewell. The service was impeccable. 🍴: My room package included breakfast and afternoon tea. Due to my busy schedule, I only had breakfast at the hotel 🥣. It offered a wide variety of Western and local specialties, and the rice noodles were delicious 😋. While strolling around the hotel, I also checked out the wine cellar. As a WSET Level 3 wine enthusiast, I have to say: the hotel's wine selection is superb! They have wines from well-known Yunnan wineries like Ao Yun and Mukxin, as well as Italian Amarone, Bordeaux, and Burgundy. I saw other guests' reviews mentioning local activities offered by the hotel, such as coffee tasting courses. This was my first stay at a Songtsam hotel, and there will be many more to come~.
