It is 120 meters high and consists of countless streams, like a huge water curtain. It is located below the Semeru volcano and is a natural wonder. I went to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall with my friends. We flew from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Surabaya, Indonesia, then rented a car and drove for four hours along the scenic mountain roads to reach a small village near the waterfall. We stayed there for one night and enjoyed the local cuisine and warm hospitality. The next morning, we started our trek down the mountain with our light luggage, following a path that led us through a rice field and then into a deep canyon where we had to climb over some rocks, jump over some streams, and walk carefully on some slippery planks to reach the base of the waterfall. It is a very exciting and fun process, but also very tiring and dangerous. When we reached the bottom of the waterfall, we were all stunned by the sight, we felt like we were standing in a water amphitheater, surrounded by vertical cliffs with countless water threads hanging on them, forming a spectacular waterfall, we heard the roar of the water, felt the mist of the water, and saw the rainbow of the water. We took a lot of photos, played in the water for a while, and enjoyed this rare beauty. The return trip was even harder than the descent, as we had to climb up a steep hill and had already used up a lot of our energy. It took us some time to get back to the village and then drive to our next destination. This visit left me with a deep impression of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and gave me an unforgettable adventure. This waterfall is a hidden treasure in Indonesia. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves nature and challenges.
