Relaxation in Songkhla Nakarin

It is the 13th higher education institution and the 8th university in Thailand. It was founded in 1967 under the name of Southern University. Later, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej granted the name "Songkla Nakarin" on September 22, 1967. Therefore, September 22 of every year is considered Songkla Nakarin Day. Later, on March 12, 1968, the Royal Decree on the Prince of Songkla University Act of 1968 was issued. Therefore, March 13 of every year is considered the founding day of the university.
