Preston is not in the city area, but you can get to the city in 30 minutes by train or bus, and it is close to the airport, so it is a good place to stay on the first or last day of your trip to Melbourne. Novotel is a global chain, so it was clean and comfortable. There was a swimming pool in the building next to Novotel Preston, so you could use it if you bought drinks or food. There was a smart TV in the room, so you could connect your phone to it and watch a movie while enjoying your vacation, and there were various seats in the lobby, so it was good to read a book or use your laptop.
