Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Portsmouth is the birthplace of the British Navy. We visited the Mary Rose Exhibition Hall. The Mary Rose was built in Portsmouth in 1509 and served as a pilot ship in the British Royal Fleet under Henry VIII. It was used as a warship for the first time in a battle with France in 1513. The remaining part of the ship's bottom cabin has been on display in Portsmouth Harbour since then. The exhibition hall is well designed, with both historical explanations and interactive designs. Anchored in the harbor on the other side is the treasure of Portsmouth and even the whole of Britain, and also the longest-serving warship in the British Royal Navy - Victory. #Southampton Tours #Overseas Tours
