Had a great meal at Thank You Somaki in Idong! [Foodie Adventure] I heard there’s a great Futomaki place in Idong, Pohang, so I decided to check it out! The name itself, 'Thank You Somaki,' is adorable, but the visuals are anything but cute... The portions are insane! Here’s what I ordered: 🍙 Salmon Futomaki 🍗 Karaage Mountain Bowl 🥔 Okonomiyaki Bowl The Futomaki was so big that it was hard to eat in one bite. It was packed with fillings, making just one roll incredibly satisfying. The salmon was soft and fresh, with no fishy smell at all! The Mountain Bowl, true to its name, had a mountain of crispy chicken on top. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with plenty of sauce drizzled over it—an absolute rice thief! There’s a self-service bar where you can freely enjoy tea, miso soup, and side dishes, making it super convenient for solo diners.
