Visiting Pittsburgh without taking the funicular to the panoramic city viewpoint is like not visiting at all. - There are two funicular routes to the viewpoint. It's recommended to take different routes up and down to enjoy different perspectives. - The best view is from the Monongahela Incline station, and the fare is cheaper than the other side. It costs 2.75 USD for a round trip, with a 3-hour ticket validity. For the descent, take the Duquesne Incline station.
