Solo Travel | A small village in Scotland loved by Natsume Soseki

📍Pitlochry The village of Pitlochry, located about two hours by bus from Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, is a very cute and small village where Natsume Soseki stayed about 100 years ago. While many tourist spots in the Scottish Highlands can only be reached by car, it is a popular resort destination that can be reached by train or bus from Edinburgh and can be visited as a day trip. There are plenty of activities to do, such as mountain climbing and whiskey distilleries, and it is easy to access and recommended for solo travelers with limited transportation. I stopped here at the end of a tour around the Highlands, and honestly I didn't have much time, so I didn't have high expectations, but I wish I could have explored it a little more slowly. I was captivated by the cuteness of the village more than I imagined☺️ The main street is small, but full of souvenir shops, general stores, and small boutiques, and it has a lively, bright, and homey atmosphere. I recommend the whiskey-flavored ice cream. When you think of Scotland, you think of Scottish whiskey 🥃 Among the various flavors, the whiskey flavor seems to be special and is priced a little higher than the others. It's the perfect ice cream for alcohol lovers, as it has a strong whiskey flavor but is addictive. For some reason, the cup was more expensive than the cone 😂 Not only is the taste great, but the appearance is also pop and cute. You'll know it's here right away because there's a line of people who are probably tour customers.
