🏝️【Taiwan・Xiaoliuqiu｜The sea breeze is gentle, time is slow】

⠀ The first time I came to Xiaoliuqiu, I was conquered by the healing feeling of this mini island. ⠀ Take a boat for 20 minutes, it's like traveling through a transparent time tunnel, jumping from a busy life into an island world of sunshine, sea breeze, and salty smell. ⠀ 🐢 The most famous here is of course the "sea turtles". You can see them gliding gracefully by your side when you snorkel. It is a completely dreamy first experience under the sea. Even if you just stand in the intertidal zone on the shore, you can see the rich ecology: sea urchins, crabs, and small fish schools shuttle among them. The surprises of nature are everywhere. ⠀ 📍You can ride a motorcycle around the island in less than half an hour, but every stop is worth stopping to see: • Vase Rock: a landmark and a check-in spot • Beauty Cave: mysterious and cool stalactite terrain • Baishawei: a beautiful angle to watch the sunset ⠀ ☀️ My favorite is the beach at dusk, the sun shines on the waves and sparkles, and there is a feeling of "I want to stay here for a few more days". ⠀ 🛖 Stay in a local B&B at night and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. There are no high-rise buildings, no traffic lights, only insects chirping and sea breeze blowing. Such days are too comfortable. ⠀ — 📝 Small notes: ✔ Xiaoliuqiu is the only coral reef island in Taiwan.
