The waters of Dapeng Bay are the largest sac-shaped lagoon on the southwest coast of Taiwan. It was known as the "Golden Qiedeng Harbor" in ancient times. It has unique natural lagoons, mangrove ecological resources and the Dapeng Bay Ring Bay Bicycle Trail, one of Taiwan's top ten classic bicycle trails, with a total length of 11.7 kilometers.
