🇰🇷 Hiking the Yeongsil Trail @ Hallasan

Hallasan is the highest mountain in South Korea, located on Jeju Island. There are a few stunning hiking trails to explore this beautiful volcanic mountain. We chose Yeongsil Trail which is of moderate difficulty level and does not require a permit. The trail leads hikers through lush forests and offers spectacular views of the island and beyond. However it does not lead to the summit and also the crater lake. It was challenging enough for us who did not have proper hiking gears but thankfully we managed to complete the trail in 5.5 hours.
