Pienza

Pienza Located in Tuscany, about 50 km southwest of Siena, it is built on top of a hill overlooking the Orcia River and the Asso Valley, and is surrounded by farmland. Pienza was founded in 1459 and was once the residence (summer palace) of the Pope.
