Day 2 — Kayaking + snorkeling at the most beautiful spot in the south Yanui Beach — a small beach near Promthep Cape. Rent a kayak → paddle to nearby islets → put on a mask → and you’re in one of the best snorkeling spots in Phuket. You can also paddle further into the open sea, circle around an islet, and enjoy a stunning sunset. Don’t worry, many do this, and it’s safe. Day 3 — Similan Islands The ultimate "wow" experience. There were many great resorts to choose from, but we decided on NOKU because it's a Japanese brand with locations in Kyoto, Osaka, the Maldives, and Phuket, which just opened in 2022. We also wanted a change from the usual seaside experience. 🔻 Stunning views from the lobby The lobby here isn't very large, but it's located at the highest point of the resort, next to an open-air swimming pool with a 270-degree view of Chalong Bay and Chalong Temple. There are also seating areas to enjoy the beautiful scenery. 🔻 Rooms: Minimal yet impressive The rooms are impressive, starting with the bathroom, which is surprisingly larger than the bedroom and features a sleek bathtub. The bedroom itself is minimally decorated but harmonizes with the Japanese-style window frames. Interestingly, the green tree views outside perfectly complement the room's ambiance. 🔻 Embrace Restaurant offers all-day dining, including a breakfast buffet with Japanese-style seating. The lighting is just right, creating a warm atmosphere. The breakfast selection is diverse, featuring both Asian and Western options, and the staff provides excellent service. Although the resort isn't beachfront, its simple design, serene rooms, and unique scenic views make the stay truly worthwhile.

A room with a sea or pool view is even more amazing, as you'll wake up to the beautiful blue water right before your eyes. Regarding the swimming pool, the view is truly stunning, as it's semi-connected to the sea. When you look out, you can see the sky and the sea as one line. The atmosphere during the morning and afternoon sun are distinctly different. In the evening, it's incredibly peaceful. Sit back and relax with the sound of the waves and the cool breeze – it's truly the best. Overall, Hotel Tide Phuket is perfect for those who prefer a peaceful, stylish atmosphere that's not too hectic. It's right next to the sea, so you don't have to walk far. #phuket Nui Beach is a small beach in the southwestern part of Phuket Island, not far from Nai Harn and Kata Noi beaches. Often called "secret," the beach is difficult to access and sparsely populated. The beach is accessed via a difficult dirt road, requiring a four-wheel drive vehicle or ATV. During the 2025 season, there is an entrance fee of 300 baht. A shuttle service is available from the road; it's a long walk. A cafe under the palm trees offers snacks in the shade of the trees or under the protection of umbrellas. Free restrooms are available in several locations, and there is an outdoor shower. Deck chairs cost 100 baht. There are no hotels on the beach due to limited space. There are numerous great photo spots, including benches, rope swings, woven cocoons, and a photo tub. You can use the photo zones for free, but you must pay for beach entrance in advance. The cliff swing offers an adrenaline rush and photo opportunities. #phuket Simon Cabaret in Phuket is one of the most famous and popular cross-dressing shows in Thailand. It offers spectators a vibrant, large-scale, professionally produced performance that combines art, dance, music, and extravagance. This place is consistently included on the list of must-see attractions on the island. Naturally, we decided to skip the "must-see" program and attend the show ourselves. Almost every act is dedicated to a different country, the source of most tourists to Thailand. Thailand itself, China, India, Malaysia, and Russia were all unmistakably represented. Photography and video recording are prohibited during the show; specially trained personnel vigilantly monitor this. We were allowed to film the final song. After the show, you are invited to exit through a special exit that leads to a long walkway where all the performers line up and offer souvenir photos for a small fee. From a distance on stage, the performers look great, but up close, when we saw them after the concert, some looked a little unnatural. 🤦♀️😂 I definitely recommend going to a show like this at least once; I think you won't regret it. #Phuket2025 #simoncabaret
