Phuket Travel Guide

🏨 Royal Paradise Hotel 💰267 per night. Arriving in Phuket early morning, I found a suitable transition hotel near Patong. It's bustling with people and bars, quite lively. The seafood market is nearby, and the hotel is conveniently located near Jungceylon and Central for shopping. There are two 7-Elevens right outside the hotel, perfect for breakfast since it's not included. Across the street is Hatha massage, which offers a Chinese menu and accepts Alipay, costing 800 baht for two hours. The massage is very relaxing. 🏨 Racha Hotel 💰1260 per night. I booked a twin room for two nights. Arrived at the reception at 11 AM, where staff let you choose the scent of the shower gel and shampoo for your room. I chose lemongrass. The reception area offers complimentary drinks, coffee, and snacks. It's advisable to buy some snacks from the 7-Eleven opposite before heading out. Communication is mostly in English, as the staff doesn't seem to speak Chinese. The island offers frozen blue sea and fine white sand. I usually have breakfast, take a stroll, and return to my room when day-trippers arrive. Then, I head out again at 3 PM when it's quieter, either lounging on the beach chairs or enjoying the infinity pool. 🏨 Aurico Kata Resort & Spa 💰610 per night for a pool access room, 3 nights. I requested a middle room from the front desk, and they accommodated me. On the first evening, I strolled along Karon Beach. The next day, I went on a day trip to Phi Phi Island for 1500 baht per person. The sea is jelly green, but it's quite tiring. On the third day, I visited the Cliff Cafe and then Central Phuket. The LV store in Phuket is well-stocked, and after tax refund, prices are about 10% cheaper than in China. I bought a JM scarf with beautiful Thai-style patterns. I recommend buying this brand's scarves in Thailand. Contrary to recommendations on Xiaohongshu, Redconner wasn't good, but the neighboring Kwong's Tom Yum was delicious with plenty of prawns. The Sweet Lemongrass massage shop near the hotel is also recommended for its cleanliness, good technique, and affordable prices. 🏨 Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa 💰1516 per night. Located at Mai Khao Beach, it's a half-hour drive from the airport. Marriott Platinum members can check out as late as 4 PM. The beach has strong waves and is mostly frequented by hotel guests, with few outside visitors #PhuketTravel #PhuketTrip #PhuketIsland
