Blue Elephant is a Michelin three-star Thai restaurant that first opened in Brussels, Belgium in 1980. Now it has branches all over the world, such as Bangkok, Dubai, London and Paris. The founder of Blue Elephant, Ms. Nooror Somany, is a native Thai. Her father was a royal chef in the palace. She inherited her father’s royal recipes and mainly serves Thai royal cuisine. Many foreign dignitaries and the Thai royal family have been guests of honor, making the Blue Elephant Restaurant famous as the royal chef. Adhering to the importance of fresh ingredients, seasonal fruits and seafood are added to the dishes. In order to more strictly control quality, Blue Elephant has its own central kitchen.
