The Buddha appeared

Phra Phut or Phra Thong is a Buddha image that is different from other temples. It is a Buddha image with only half of its body, looking like it has emerged from the ground. There is a legend that a boy took a buffalo and tied it to a plug that protruded from the ground. That evening, the boy died, and so did the buffalo. That night, the boy's father dreamed that his son had tied a buffalo to the top of the Buddha image. The next morning, the boy's father tried to dig and found the Buddha image, but he could only dig half of it and could not dig any further.
