There are many hotels, homestays and hostels on Phu Quoc Island. This time I would like to recommend what I think is the best youth hostel on Phu Quoc Island: Phu Quoc 9 Station Hostel. - The overall design has a Balinese feel, with a wooden style. There is also a nice swimming pool. I didn't go in the water but many people would come for a quick swim, and the water also looked clear. The next day I got up early in the morning and lay by the swimming pool. I felt very comfortable and calm. - I have to praise the lobby & lounge area for being spacious and well ventilated. I also had breakfast here. There is no air conditioning and it is a little stuffy, but there is a fan. - The room is big and clean! I was also surprised to find that there were two lockers in the room for my luggage, which was quite spacious! - The bed should be a super single with enough space and a place to hang things. The sheets are very comfortable without any stains, and the air-conditioning is cold enough.. - It seems that there will be some youth hostel programs here, and you can also sign up for Beer Pong/Pool party... I didn't ask in detail, haha - The location of Qing Hotel is in an alley, and it takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the main road. There are massage/manicure and hair care shops along the way. There are a lot of food on the main road. There are not many street lights along the way at night, but I think there are many solo travelers walking around here, so it is quite safe. The main thing is not to return to the room too late.. - The toilet is generally OK, no strong odor... Of course it's not as clean as a hotel but I think it's OK... No insects, bring your own toiletries. I've stayed in hostels in Bali, Indonesia & Bangkok, Thailand - none of them were this spacious, so this one is really nice!
