A five-star resort here only costs a few hundred dollars. Surprisingly, I found that the island has many Italian-style buildings and is popular with Koreans. I later learned from the locals that this is because it is visa-free for South Koreans. Phu Quoc is definitely a perfect and affordable honeymoon destination. You can come here luggage-free, as you can purchase souvenirs, sunscreen and visit the only mart on the island, Kingkong Mart.
