Wat Phongsunan is located on Kham Lue Road, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phrae Province. The highlight of this temple is the golden reclining Buddha on the wall, which is the symbol of the temple. It is near the 19-spire auspicious archway. Wat Phongsunan is also the temple of the Wongburi family, which used to be an abandoned temple called Wat Pongsanuk. Highlights: Inside the ordination hall, there is a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya attitude called “Phra Chao Saensuk”, which is approximately 568 years old. There is also a chedi containing the relics of the Buddha, an ancient Buddha image, and the glass shrine of the 108-spire pagoda. This shrine is completely white and has 108 pagodas in total, surrounded by a wall of 108 glass beads.
