Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the royal temple of Ayutthaya

Wat Phra Si Sanphet is a royal temple in the ancient palace of Ayutthaya. It was built during the reign of King Borommatrailokanat. It enshrines important Buddha images of the Ayutthaya court. Inside the temple are three Sri Lankan-style pagodas containing the remains of the Ayutthaya kings. The temple is now part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park and has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
