Pagoda Temple in the city

The Wat Phnom temple is a Buddhist temple in the city of Phnom Penh. The place is crowded with tourists from all over the world. Be sure to wear long sleeves and long pants as a form of respect to the temple god. The place is quiet and ancient. I can see many Buddha statues all around the place. As you walk inside the temple, you can see kids asking you for money. I managed to chat with a ten year old boy who is selling bracelets to support his education. He is fluent in many languages. He told me he learned those languages from the tourists who purchased the brackets from them. He also sells friendship bands at USD 1 each. Be sure to visit the temple when you are at Phnom Penh. #bucketlistreboot
