Wang Nam Yen Rapids, Thung Salaeng Luang National Park

For those who love adventure in nature, come to Thung Salaeng Luang National Park and drive around to see nature! We recommend using a large car or 4WD because the nature trail is not paved and has potholes and branches that will make you nervous all the way. The way to Kaeng Wang Nam Yen is about 7 kilometers from the tent site and the park's tourist service area. It is a natural road that goes deep into the area. The first part is paved. You can park your car to take pictures of the view, the road, and the trees. After driving for a long distance, there will be a serpentine path to Kaeng Wang Nam Yen. Park your car at the top and walk down a little. You will see a medium-sized rapid with warm evening light shining through. It is very beautiful. If the water level is low, you can walk across to the other side. However, we walked on the rocks to take beautiful pictures and could not cross to the other side. We recommend arriving around 3-4 p.m. because it gets dark early.
