Monument of King Naresuan the Great

#Historic place The monument of King Naresuan the Great was built on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great's 60th birthday on December 5, 1999, and to pay tribute to the 400th anniversary of the victory of King Naresuan the Great through Kanchanaburi to capture Hanthawaddy in 1599. The location of the monument is believed to be the place where King Naresuan the Great won the elephant battle against King Maha Uparaja of Burma. The evidence found is full of ancient objects used in warfare, including weapons, elephant and horse ornaments, horse rosary beads, elephant ornaments, war horse emblems, and bullets. #Long live the King!
