We like being with nature, and Phang Nga's nature is extraordinary. It's the best in every way. 🌅 On the day of departure, we left our house at 5 am because we had never been there before, so we had extra time to avoid accidents. And it was true. At 8 am, we were still on the way. The distance was 14 km, almost 4 hours of driving. Yes, you understand correctly, the road was very rough. The road was a single lane road with no U-turns because it was a cliff. We drove halfway until we reached the forest ranger station, which was wide enough to make a U-turn. We started discussing whether to continue or turn back. The two of us, husband and wife, wanted to go up because we thought it would be beautiful because there were always people on this road. However, it depended on the other members. We decided to continue. I was excited the whole way to get there. When I got to the top, the place was so cool, so beautiful, so wow. You could say it was nature therapy. 🥶 It was sooooo cold up there. When we went up there, it was in the middle of March. Imagine the cold weather since the morning. The sun didn't make it warm at all, but the wind on the mountain was really cool. After the sun set, we couldn't leave the fire. Don't even mention taking a shower. No one even went to the bathroom. Everyone was released back to nature. I can't even imagine the winter. Lol. 🌳 Normally, the park sets a time for going up and down, but on the day I went, there was no one at the entrance and I didn't know if it was the entrance to the accommodation or the ranger station. I was very lucky that there were no cars coming the other way. 🛻 For those who want to go but don't have a car, the park has a shuttle service downstairs. Normal cars can't go up. It should be a 4WD only. The car service fee to go up and down Phu Ta Cho is 3,600 baht. One car can seat 8 people, which is 450 baht per person for a round trip. There is no food for sale up there. There are no amenities. It's an open mountain, no electricity, only one bathroom. You should bring your own. And don't sleep near water sources because wild animals like to go there.
