📌Old Market, Phanat Nikhom Phanat Nikhom District, Chonburi Province Phanat Nikhom is an ancient city that flourished about 1,000 years ago or when the Khmer were still powerful in the Suvarnabhumi Kingdom. From various evidence, it is believed that the prosperous city was called Mueang Phra Rot. Phanat Nikhom was established as a city during the reign of King Nangklao in 2371. Later, during the reign of King Chulalongkorn, he reformed the regional administration and organized the administration into provinces, provinces, districts, sub-districts, and villages. Therefore, he ordered that Mueang Phanat Nikhom, Mueang Bang Lamung, and Mueang Bang Pla Soi be combined. Mueang Phanat Nikhom became a district of Chonburi in 2441. Since then, within the Phanat Nikhom community, there is a Chinese opera house, Roje, and a woven market located on Ko Kaew Road behind the fresh market of Phanat Nikhom Municipality (old market). Most of the products are household necessities, which have been developed to be suitable as home decorations. The fresh market opens early in the morning. It may close in the late morning. The shops are open all the time. And I would like to recommend the fried oysters behind the market, very delicious, without dipping sauce (the shop does not have dipping sauce because it is already delicious). And the old soy milk shop near Saphan Nawamutit. There are also cute coffee shops and old-style shops to visit.
