Pink Lake in Australia? Lake MacDonnell is the best!

Lake MacDonnell in South Australia has been in my bucket list for quite sometime and I got finally the chance to see it with my eyes! It is quite impressive. You can see 3 distinct colours in the lake, an aqua colour for the piece of water straight in front of me in the picture, a different blue-green colour on my left and the great pink colour on my right. Pros of this amazing place: it is an incredible pleasant view for the eyes. It is pink! You are in the beautiful Eyre Peninsula, full of sand dunes and water. You feel in pace with yourself and nature (you are quite isolated in the area). Cons: it is a very long drive from Adelaide. It is definitely worth a visit but you have to be prepared to drive long hours and have a 4 wheel drive car (the final 20 minutes of the drive is unsealed).
