Charming coastal beach pier

On a road trip in the UK, one of the stops was in Cardiff. I woke up early in the morning and had no idea where to have brunch, so I just searched for nearby attractions on Google map and drove to Penarth Pier Pavilion. When we got there, we found it was so beautiful. A pier extending to the center of the sea, with a grey rocky beach and the grey sky that day, gave people a feeling of indescribable beauty with a hint of depression. The whole place felt very British. There are a series of huts of different colors behind the rocky beach, and different pubs in the basement provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.
