The best ‘Roti Canai Banjir’ in town!

The roti canai stall located along Jalan Transfer has been a hotspot in Penang for such a long time. The stall now managed by 3rd generation descendant. The stall has seats and tables that can accommodate up to more than 50 customers. It open from 6.30am to 1pm, 3.30pm to 7pm. At this stall, customers can enjoy a few choices of roti canai, as well as other variety of this local classic such as roti telur, roti sardin, and roti bakar to name a few. However, the standouts to take note of in this department have to be the roti banjir and the roti canai daging. Here it is often packed during weekends and public holidays. It is best to get there before 11am or there might be no curry left for you and missed the opportunity to try it. As for my opinion, the roti canai taste is just ok but the curries do most of the talking. The Chicken curry,beef curry, mutton curry all thick, spicy and tasty. My favourite of the lot was the chicken curry, cooked till tender and aromatic from the selected spices I like curry gravy and roti canai banjir is one of my favourite food to eat, especially when the curries are good. Mix all the curries together and enjoy the meal.
