A Budget Gem with a Million-Dollar View

#summerbudgettrip Kek Lok Si Temple is truly a must-visit when you're on a budget trip in Penang. I didn’t expect such a grand temple complex to be mostly free! The best part? The stunning view of the city from the top—it looks like something out of a postcard. I only paid a small amount to take the inclined lift up to see the giant Kuan Yin statue, and it was totally worth it. I spent hours just strolling through the halls and gardens, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere without spending much. It’s a perfect place if you love taking photos too—there are so many colorful corners and hidden gems. This spot reminded me that the most beautiful travel moments don’t have to cost a lot. Just bring your camera, comfy shoes, and a bit of curiosity, and you’re in for a wonderful day.
