Spanish bay and 17-mile drive at Pebble beach

Beautiful 5 star experience. The resort is located on a golf course and on the water. Every evening, a bagpiper wanders throughout the property, playing his bagpipes come rain or shine. It makes you feel like you are in Scotland or some other fascinating place. There is a nice outdoor area with several fire pits for everyone to hang out. Even though there is no snow, it feels like skiing. Roy's Restaurant is a personal favorite, as is Sticks. Both have amazing views! There are also two other restaurants, so you won't go hungry. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the lobby in the morning. The promenade that starts from the golf course and along the sea offers truly spectacular views and fresh sea breezes. I believe it is one of the oldest and longest trails in the country. 17-mile drive was the site of a small Chinese fishing village in the late 1800s. You can still see centuries-old cooking smoke deposited in the rocks from the earliest settlements. It takes about 3 hours to explore the 17-Mile Drive. This is especially true if you stop to take pictures or eat along the way. You can enter 17 Mile Drive through four gates, pay a $10.50 fee and receive a map of the road's iconic landmarks.
